It seems that the World of music is continuing to become more and more jam-packed with former X Factor wannabes. One such act, who made themselves known to music fans, are Union J, who have just been officially signed up to a record label and are working on their debut single.
Union J finished fourth in last year’s X Factor and were repeatedly compared to another former X Factor act One Direction, who have been taking the World by storm. Now, Union J will begin their assault on taking down One Direction and becoming the best boyband in the business.
The foursome explained, “We are absolutely thrilled to be signed to RCA. Being on X Factor was such a great experience and the perfect way for us to start our musical journey. Hopefully 2013 will an amazing year for us and we cannot wait for everyone to hear our music.”
Union J will be surrounded by familiar faces at RCA, who have also signed up Jahmene Douglas, who came second on the same season as Union J. As well as those two acts, RCA other artists include former X Factor contestants JLS, Alexandra Burke and Aiden Grimshaw.
Do you think Union J will be able to replace One Direction as the biggest boyband around?
