Union J's George Shelley has just made a massive promise if the band's debut single manages to hit #1 when it releases this summer.

Union J is often called the 'next' One Direction
Union J's first single, called 'Carry You', will release in June and is already getting promotion thanks to George Shelley. Shelley, when speaking to the Sun, admits that he'll pose naked in a bathtub full of beans if 'Carry You' reaches #1 on the charts after its release in June.
He joked, "We'll have a massive party - and I've said I'll sit in a bath of beans. Yes definitely, be pictured and everything, you have my word."

Union J's debut single 'Carry You' comes out this June
He seems to have made a promise that he now can't renege on if the single does indeed hit #1 on the charts. Union J has started to hit it big, after coming fourth in the X Factor 2012. The boys are often compared to One Direction, and indeed, Union J's George Shelley, Josh Cuthbert, Jaymi Hensley, and JJ Hamblett definitely bear a resemblance to One Direction's boyband members. However, we will see if Union J holds the promise of 1D with the performance of 'Carry You' this summer, but so far, it seems as though George has managed to convince his fans to help him get the song to the top.
