While a lot of people still insist on putting down The X Factor, claiming that it does not produce any real talent, there are still plenty of stars who got their big break on the show. With One Direction dominating the boyband market, it was unclear how Union J would fair following their time on The X Factor but the boys are more than holding their own.
Union J released their self-titled debut album back in October 2013 and have had three hit singles come from the record, which are Carry You, Beautiful Life and Loving You is Easy. The boys work on the track Loving You is Easy with R&B star Jason Derulo and Union J singer Jaymi Hensley has confirmed that they will work with Jason again on their next album.
Hensley recently explained, "This song is about how it sometimes feels like you’re never going to meet the right person, but when you do it’s the greatest feeling in the world. Jason Derulo is such an inspiration to us and we’re so pleased to record this single and are looking forward to writing new material with him once we come off tour."
Union J have enjoyed a successful UK tour over the course of the past couple of months, as well as having their very own Union J dolls released. As for the new Union J album, the boys will begin work on the record in the coming months, with a release planned for later in 2014. We will give you more official details when they have been released.
