There has been a lot of hype surrounding X Factor boyband Union J, with many claiming that they are set to become big rivals for One Direction. Now, the Union J boys have been talking about the future, saying that they hope to outdo One Direction on The X Factor.
Jaymi Hensley told The Mirror, “We don't want there to be any limits on how big we can be. We would love to be as big as they are right now and break America and tour the world. Louis Walsh thinks the sky is the limit. We will have such amazing lives if we do well and we will be able to live a life that people dream of.”
Josh Cuthbert then went on to say that he hopes that Union J can outdo One Direction, by coming first or second in the show, “We want to do better than One Direction. They finished third and we want to finish first or second. It would be amazing to do that,” he added.
Despite only coming third in The X Factor back in 2010, One Direction have since become global superstars, enjoying success all over the world. Union J will tonight find out if they have made the final in the results show, which is set to air on ITV 1 at 8pm.
