It seems that Dave Dobkin is doing a rather impressive job of putting together a decent cast for his next movie The Judge. With Robert Downey Jr. already signed on to play the male lead in The Judge, it has now been reported by The Hollywood Reporter that Vera Farmiga has signed on to join the cast.

Vera Farmiga has joined the cast
Vera Farmiga currently stars in the television series Bates Motel, which has earned rave reviews from its recent debut. With the show set to become a huge hit with fans, it will certainly help the movies cause to have Vera Farmiga on board, as she builds up her following.
The Judge centres around a successful attorney, who comes back from his mothers funeral, only to discover that his father is the prime murder suspect. Robert Downey Jr. will play the attorney, while Vera Farmiga has signed on to play a waitress, who has a history with his character.
