It appears that Verne Troyer, who is probably most famous for playing Mini Me in the Austin Powers movies, happens to be a fan of the English Premier League soccer team Arsenal. Verne has spent a fair amount of time over the years in the UK and it seems that he has developed a soft spot for the team.
Although Arsenal have not exactly been the most successful of teams in recent years, Troyer was proud to show off his Arsenal jersey. Verne wore the Arsenal shirt, while taking part in a celebrity golf tournament in California recently.
Arsenal have not been very competitive in the transfer market during the summer transfer window and look likely to end their run of successfully qualifying for the Champions League for 14 years in a row. Verne Troyer joins a list of celebrity Arsenal fans that includes Colin Firth, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Kevin Costner.
