Veronica Varekova recently sent out a tweet to remind her fans not to miss the first ivory crush in America. The event, scheduled to occur at the national wildlife repository in Denver on November 14, is the brainstorm of the Obama administration. The plan is to crush and grind up over 6 tons of ivory to get the message out that killing elephants for their tusks is unacceptable.
Veronica joins her voice with other wild life enthusiasts in an effort to express her concerns over the wildlife conservation efforts and how we can support it in America. Supporting this first time American ivory crush is a great way to show how serious she is about saving animals and doing the right thing for them.
Being a part of the ivory crush proves her already stated passions for wildlife. Veronica is so passionate about protecting the wildlife in Africa that she joined the African Wildlife Foundation and pledged to be an outspoken ambassador for them in 2009.
These past four years have not dimmed her passion for saving wild animals from needless destruction for gain. In fact, so great is her passion that she says she is "willing to be killed for speaking out about the poaching wild animals" for such things as the ivory tusks on elephants. Not only can we love and admire Veronica for her beauty, we can also admire her for her passionate efforts to save wild animals today.
