Victoria Justice is closing the Nickelodeon chapter of her career. In August 2012 the kids' channel announced the cancellation of Victorious, the Victoria Justice fronted sitcom. The final 15 episodes aired from January to February 2013. Since 2012, Victoria Justice has slowly been moving to other avenues of entertainment. Her latest venture is a television mini-series titled, Eye Candy.
On October 11, 2013, MTV announced that Victoria Justice was cast in the pilot, Eye Candy. Eye Candy is still in pre-production. It is scheduled to air summer of 2014. Victoria Justice will play Lindy Sampson, a reclusive hacker, whose blog exposes terrorist plots and suspected serial killers. The series kicks off with a woman reading Lindy's blog and suspecting her online date is a serial killer. The series also stars Lilan Bowden and Harvey Guillen.
Before the cancellation of Victorious, Victoria Justice was venturing into movies. In October 2012, the actress starred in Fun Size. The movie costars Johnny Knoxville and Chelsea Handler. Her next movie venture is Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. Victoria plays lead character, Naomi, who has been best friends with Ely since childhood. Ely and Naomi have loved each other forever, but Ely is not into girls. The friends start a "No Kiss List" to prevent each other from going after the same guy. However, their friendship is tested when they both fall for the same boy. There is no date scheduled for this movie's release.
Life after Nickelodeon looks victorious for Victoria Justice. We will post the release date of Eye Candy as soon as MTV announces it. In the meantime, Fun Sive is currently streaming on Netflix.
