Tyler James showed that being able to sing can impress the ladies, as his performance on The Voice UK persuaded judge Jessie J to ask him out for dinner.

Tyler, who was a close friend of the late singer Amy Winehouse, sang Terence Trent D'Arby's Sign Your Name in a bid to keep his place on the BBC One talent show.
His flawless vocal wowed all the judges, including Will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue, but Jessie J seemed particularly taken with the 'very cool' singer.

She told Tyler: 'I want to chill with you, I do! I think your voice is smooth and I would happily buy your album.'
If that wasn't enough to please the contestant, Jessie jokingly asked: 'Let's go out for dinner?'
However, handsome Tyler has more than just Jessie swooning. The hopeful seemed more than a little surprised by the development and couldn't keep a smile off his face when Reggie Yates quizzed him about it. But when Reggie asked whether he would take her up the offer, Tyler could only mumble: 'I don't know.'
If he was too busy worrying about his future on The Voice UK to think about going on a date with a pop star, the other judges' comments suggested he had no need to be. Will.i.am told him the country 'should be honoured to have a soulful, smooth singer' like him, while music legend Tom Jones congratulated Tyler on not sounding like Terence Trent D'Arby.
