The past few years have seen Marvel become the dominant force in the world of comic book movies, with a whole host of top movies being released over the past few years. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become very impressive and is continuing to grow every year, with a number of Marvel movie releases.

Batman vs. Superman is coming
Meanwhile, Warner Bros. and DC have been lagging way behind, with just a few good movies to speak of during the Marvel dominance. However, it looks like Warner Bros. and DC are finally getting their act together, with the Batman vs. Superman movie being the first step towards them creating an impressive Cinematic Universe of their own.
We already know that we are going to get introduced to Wonder Woman and Cyborg in Batman vs. Superman, with there also being rumours that we could see Aquaman also make a brief appearance. Warner Bros. have now released a statement confirming that Zack Snyder will direct the Justice League movie after the Batman vs. Superman film, as well as having nine other DC projects in development.

Which other DC characters will we see?
It is expected that we will see another standalone Superman movie, a standalone Batman movie, as well as a potential Wonder Woman film. Meanwhile, fans are suggesting that a brief appearance from Aquaman in Batman vs. Superman could lead into an Aquaman movie, as well as plenty of rumours about The Flash getting a solo film.
With all that said, these are all currently rumours and we will have to wait for Warner Bros. to confirm which characters we will see in these nine other projects.
