It doesn't seem like even men are safe from this television season. CBS new show We Are Men had only aired two times before the plug was pulled immediately on the Monday night comedy. This is not the only show that has met the fate of being canceled this season. ABC's Lucky 7 was also canceled early in October.

Kal Penn starred in We Are Men
The cast of We Are Men included: Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O'Connell, and Kal Penn. The show was doomed from the beginning. For the first episode it started with a viewing of 6.6 million people with only a rating of 2.0.
If you think that is bad, the second episode dropped in viewers to 5.8 million people and a whopping rating of 1.8. The series centered around four men that were all in different stages of being dumped and living the bachelor life in Hollywood.

Penn posted on his Twitter account "Well, we were men." This is the only statement made by the actor about the show being canceled. We can only hope that now this will give him more time to focus on bigger and better things that we can all look forward to.
