The X Factor’s search for the new pop star to take the world by storm is well underway and tonight is the night that the live finals are finally decided. There has been a lot of strong competition this year and some very impressive people have already been kicked off.
This year, the groups have been better than ever before and have impressed time and time again. Unfortunately Rough Copy had to leave the competition due to a visa problem but their mentor Louis Walsh was able to bring in two groups to replace them.

That meant that Louis had the difficult task of choosing three groups from the seven he took to Las Vegas and unfortunately for the longest serving judge, all of the groups, Union J, Times Red, Mitsotu, MK1, Poisonous Twin, Duke and GMD3, were on top form yet again.
So here it is. The three acts that Louis Walsh has chosen to go through to The X Factor live finals are MK1, GMD3 and Union J but let’s hear it for Mitsotu, Duke, Poisonous Twin and Times Red who can leave the competition with their heads held high knowing that they gave it their all.
