It seems that the news of there being a Star Wars Episode 7 movie made has split fans all over the world, with some being delighted at the news, while others have questioned the need for it. Obviously the need is the fact that it will make hundreds of millions of dollars.

However, these fans who are currently a bit sceptical of the idea of a Star Wars Episode 7 movie could be brought round to the idea, with the news of a good director taking the reins. As of yet, Star Wars Episode 7 is still in the very early stages of production, so there has been no real talk of a director just yet.
That has not stopped fans from talking about who they would like to see helming Star Wars Episode 7 and, whoever is finally chosen is bound to split the fans yet again. It is impossible to please everybody all of the time but, if Disney bring in a top director, it could ease some of the annoyances for some of the fans.

Some of the names currently being thrown around are the likes of Brad Bird (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), David Yates (Harry Potter), Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class) and Sam Mendes (Skyfall). Whoever does get given the task of directing Star Wars Episode 7 will hopefully do a better job than George Lucas did with his last trilogy.
