With 'The Social Network' producers confirmed this week to work on the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, fans now turn to the casting of the characters themselves.

'Word and Film' has opened a new popularity poll over who should star as the female lead, Anastasia Steele, on the big screen.
Anastasia Steele is described in E.L. James’ bestselling erotic novel trilogy as a beautiful and naïve young woman, who is headstrong and intelligent, fresh from college graduation. With blue eyes 'too big for her face', long brunette hair, slim figure and a mysterious allure, her gaze quickly drew the sexy gray eyes of striking CEO and billionaire, Christian Grey.

In a previous poll to determine the fans favourite to play Christian, Ian Somerhalder was a clear winner. Other popular choices seemed to include Ryan Gosling, Alexander Skarsgard, Matt Bomer, Chris Pine, Scott Elrod and quite a few others.

As for Ana, Kristen Stewart seems to be out of the chance to take on the role, as the author said that would be a 'weird' choice in casting. Other names consistently mentioned for the part are Emilia Clarke, Lily Collins, Lucy Hale, Mila Kunis and Emma Roberts.
Curiosity is also growing over who will play the supporting roles in the movie. Check out our lists of who would make a good Mrs. Robinson, aka Elena Licoln, and Kate Kavanagh, Ana's best friend and room mate.
As for Ana's creepy boss, Jack Hyde? A few names are doing the rounds, including Cillian Murphy, Collin Ferrell and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
Ashley Greene is being linked to the role of Mia, Christian's sister, whilst Michael Fassbender is being hyped up as the perfect Jason Taylor.
Who would be in your dream cast for the movie?
