Former X Factor contestants One Direction are currently enjoying huge success and fame beyond their wildest dreams, not only in the UK but also in the US. However, when you are at the top, there is only one direction (excuse the pun) that your career can go and that is down.
All boybands eventually find their time running out and eventually one member always decides to leave and pursue a solo career. Robbie Williams left Take That, Ronan Keating left Boyzone and Justin Timberlake enjoyed a successful solo career post N*SYNC.
So, while it will not be for some time yet (we hope), there will come a time when One Direction decide to go their own separate ways and break hearts around the world. But who out of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik will leave One Direction first?
Well we are going to put it out there and say that we think Niall Horan will be the first to break ranks and leave One Direction. Not only is Niall a talented vocalist but he can also play music and is a keen songwriter. We can picture Niall sat on a stool on a stage with just his guitar, singing a song written by himself.
We are sure that there are those of you that will not agree and even some of you that are in denial that it will happen but there will come a time when One Direction split and there will be attempted solo careers. We just think that Niall Horan will be the most successful.
