While most of us are really looking forward to casting our eyes on the Marvel television series S.H.I.E.L.D., there is one thing that could be considered as a bad move. While Agent Coulson has been a good character in the Marvel movies, his involvement is S.H.I.E.L.D. is a bad idea.
Agent Coulson in The Avengers
There has been plenty of talk about the television series and who will appear in it and it has been confirmed that Clark Gregg will reprise his role as Agent Coulson. This has caused concerns among some fans, as Agent Coulson was killed off in The Avengers movie.
While it is possible for Agent Coulson to appear in S.H.I.E.L.D. in flash backs or in dream sequences, it is still a bad idea to have him appear in the television series at all. Why?, you might ask. Well, seeing Agent Coulson die was an emotional scene and fans were devastated by his death.

Bringing back Agent Coulson means that, those of us who were sitting there begging for him to live needn’t have worried at all. By bringing back dead characters, it takes away the fear of death. Why would a viewer be worried about a character dying, when they can just be brought back at a later point.
Bringing back Agent Coulson takes away any sense of fear and ultimately and connection to characters on the screen. If a character dies in a movie or a television show, they should stay dead.
