Footballer Adem Ljajic only four years ago in was considered one of the gems of the football world, a young attacking midfielder/forward who was playing for Partizan and was rumoured to be the player Manchester United's noted manager Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to sign. No one knows why the signing did not occur but the deal fell through and Adem Ljajic three years later, in 2013, signed an 11 milliion Euro contract for four years with the Italian football team AS Roma. Since that signing the talented player has been mostly consigned to the bench and in 2014 has seemingly fallen out of favor with Roma manager Rudi Garcia.
However, with the summer transfer market period fast approaching the playing fortunes of Adem Ljajic seems to be on the rise. Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers, a manager who is always on the lookout for skilled attacking midfielders who are versatile enough to play up front has been rumoured to have targeted Adem Ljajic as a player he would be interested in adding to his squad and in the process provide even more good competition for Raheem Sterling.
Liverpool is not the only team interested in the talents of this young footballer as the new manager of Manchester United has reportedly become fond of the young Serbian midfielder as he is looking for a player who could provide some attacking creativity in the last third of the pitch and is rumoured to be ready to meet the transfer price for the player.
Adem Ljajic might soon be rescued from the doghouse of AS Roma manager Rudi Garcia by either Liverpool or Manchester United and if this happens the football world might soon get to see the talents that made him such a desired player that he had the attention of the great Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.
