Superstar actor Christian Bale is on the cover of the April 2014 issue of GQ Germany and the handsome actor is pictured sporting a beard. It is almost unfair to most men that this actor can be clean shaven or have his face encased in a beard and he still looks 'heavenly' to most women. He is currently in the process of completing the post-production work for his role in the epic film "Exodus: Gods and Kings" in which he plays Moses. The story revolves around Moses leading the Israelite slaves out of Egypt and many are anticipating that this movie will put him again in contention for another Academy Award nomination.
However, his name has recently become the focus of attention for another reason and that is the biopic by Sony Pictures about Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. Acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher was reportedly the frontrunner to produce the movie and he allegedly would only accept the project if Christian Bale was going to play Steve Jobs. It is rumoured that negotiations between David Fincher and Sony Pictures were unsuccessful so now the question is whether Christian Bale will still be part of the movie.
Christian Bale had never officially stated whether he was associated with the movie but entertainment insiders do not believe that filmmaker David Fincher would be so adamant about having Christian Bale for the role of Steve Jobs unless he had engaged in some sort of conversation with the talented actor.
Sony Pictures is focused on beginning filming for the role at the end of 2014 but with the heavy film schedule that Christian Bale has endured over the past two years and the current pregnancy of his wife with their second child his fans should not hold their breath in anticipation of him becoming part of the Steve Jobs project. Christian Bale is notoriously selective in his movie roles and if he feels things are not 'right' he will not be part of a project.
Expect Christian Bale upon completion of "Exodus: Gods and Kings" to not return to filming until 2015 as he recharges his body and mind from his extensive filming schedule of the past two years.
