Over the course of his career, which has spanned the past 60 decades, Clint Eastwood has played a lot of very interesting characters in some brilliant movies but, out of all the characters that he has played over the years arguably the biggest and the best of them all is the Dirty Harry character Harry Callahan. Clint has played the role of Harry Callahan in five movies to date but will we ever get to see another Dirty Harry film?

Those of you who are big Clint Eastwood fans and, even more than that, big fans of the Dirty Harry movies will be very familiar with the rumours that Clint was making a sixth and final Dirty Harry movie a few years back. Fans got extremely excited about this and could not wait to see Eastwood back in this role. Unfortunately though, it was not a new Dirty Harry movie that was being made, it was actually the 2008 movie Gran Torino.
At the age of 83 Clint Eastwood has enjoyed a long, successful and simply sensational career but the years are running out for us to get another Dirty Harry film. As the years go by it looks more and more unlikely that we will see Clint Eastwood playing Harry Callahan on the big screen but how amazing would it be if he did surprise us all with a new Dirty Harry movie? We won't hold our breath though.
