It is the biggest domestic heavyweight fight that is available at the moment and both David Price and Tyson Fury have been calling each other out, so why have they not fought yet? Well the answer is simple. They are both on different paths and at different stages in their boxing career.

Tyson Fury
While many argue that David Price is the best British heavyweight since Lennox Lewis, he is still fighting at British and Commonwealth level, while Tyson Fury is on the verge of a World Title fight. With that said, there will eventually come a time when the two do come head to head.
Next year will see Tyson Fury take one more step towards a shot at one of the Klitschko's and 2013 could even be the year that he gets his title shot. However, David Price wants to defend his British title one more time so that he wins it outright and then he will need to up his level of opponent.

David Price knocks out Audley Harrison
While we do believe that David Price would beat Tyson Fury if they did decide to get it on, David is not yet at the same stage of his career as Tyson. When Tyson Fury does get his title shot, the chances are he will get beat and then David Price will get his shot at Tyson. Expect Tyson Fury vs David Price to take place late next year.
