When it comes to creating a crossover of movies on the big screen, there is nobody who has even come close to doing it as well as Marvel have over the past few years. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become huge over the years and continues to become bigger and better with every movie that they release, linking all of there previous films together and having different characters appearing in each others movies, as well as joining them together with The Avengers films.
The Avengers was a huge success

Earlier this year it was announced that Marvel have teamed up with Netflix to bring us some more of their characters to the small screen, with a number or new Marvel television series. So far it has been confirmed that Marvel and Netflix will bring us shows based on Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Daredevil, while it is also expected that more could follow in the future.

With that said, it will be interesting to see whether Marvel decide to integrate these new television series into the Marvel Cinematic Universe or whether they decide to keep the television shows separate. Marvel have already linked their movies into their current television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., with characters crossing over between the two, and it has proved fairly successful.

We will have to wait and see if Marvel do decide to do a similar thing with the new shows and it will ultimately depend on just how successful these new shows turn out to be. There has been no casting news for any of these new characters as of yet but there has been plenty of interest, especially in the role of Luke Cage.
