Michelle Horn disappeared from Hollywood after 2008 at the age of 21 after a 13 year career. She is a woman who should have been preparing to hit her prime but she left and one has to wonder did she tire of the fight of trying to meet the "image" standards that most young female actresses are faced with in Hollywood, most specifically looking slim and not medium to full figured.
In 2005 she starred with Bruce Willis in the movie "Hostage" and received good reviews but three years later was part of the cast of the movie "The Coverup". One would have thought Michelle Horn would have been a central figure in the latter movie but that was not the case and the one thing that was noticeable to fans of hers was that she was noticeably smaller in body size in the latter movie.
Hollywood is known for being very competitive and despite Michelle Horn's prolific resume one could imagine how the difficulty in reaching a body size that she was not comfortable with made her question the value of trying to continue pursuing a career in Hollywood. However, Michelle Horn is a talented actress who was known for not just acting but also her voiceover work in the successful Lion King movie franchise and this is where her absence from Hollywood is something that did not have to occur.
In today's Hollywood many actors and actresses who do not want to be seen on camera but still want to be involved in the movie making process have developed thriving careers as voice artists in animation fields. Other young actors and actresses who started in Hollywood at an early age sometimes take a break and then come back as mature adults. It is the hope of many within the entertainment industry that Michelle Horn finds her way back into Hollywood either on the screen or behind the screen because her absence has been noted and her talent is missed.
