I can come across as quite a grumpy person at times and there are a lot of things that I really do not like (mainly reality TV). One thing that also really bugs me is “contract saga’s” in football and the latest when to get under my skin is the Paul Pogba contract saga at Manchester United.
There has been talk about Paul Pogba and his contract at Manchester United for months now and there have been so many different rumours about what the 18 year old French midfielder is going to do. However, I think it is pretty obvious what he is going to do and wish he would do it already.
There were claims a few weeks ago that Paul Pogba was going to leave Manchester United and join Juventus on a four year deal. There were also stories that Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had asked Rio Ferdinand to have a word with young Pogba, in a bid to get him to stay.
The fact of the matter is, Paul Pogba is at the best club in the English Premier League and one of the best clubs in the world. If Barcelona or Real Madrid were interested in him, then the contract saga would make sense, but they are not. Paul Pogba would be stupid to leave Manchester United and I for one do not think he will.
So, the sooner Paul Pogba signs a new contract at Manchester United the better. Arriba!!
