So we are now getting very close to finally getting to see the next instalment of the Star Wars Saga, with the new movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi just a few weeks away from finally hitting the big screen. While we are all excited to see what is going to happen to our favourite characters from the previous Star Wars movies, we are also looking forward to seeing what the new characters will add to the franchise.
With the release of a number of different trailers and clips, many fans have become excited about getting to see more of the Porgs in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, with some suggesting that the little creatures could steal the show. However, John Boyega, who got to work with the creatures in shooting the new movie, has his own ideas about things, with John admitting that they were actually a bit creepy.
Boyega said, "I just remember doing some stuff and seeing a lot of porgs around. And they are interesting, but for me, I had a love/hate relationship with them. They’re very, very cute, but when you put them in a bunch, in holes, on the Millennium Falcon, that’s when they start to become really, really freaky. They’ve got real big eyes, all bunched together. There were, like, little tiny ones and little big ones that would just…yeah, it looks like a rash."
We have to admit that we are a little unsure of the Porgs at the moment but we are looking forward to seeing more of them when the movie is released. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit the big screen on December 14 in the UK and then on December 15 in the US.
