It was confirmed earlier this year, that Bad Boys actor Will Smith and his Karate Kid actor son, Jaden Smith would be set to once again team up together on the big screen. The father and son acting team have previously worked together on the movie The Pursuit of Happyness and their off screen chemistry transferred perfectly to the big screen. Now they are set to do it again.
Will Smith, who has just finished filming Men In Black III, and Jaden Smith will be teaming up with each other for the Sci-Fi movie One Thousand A.E. and shooting for the movie is set to begin in February. One Thousand A.E. centres around a father and son, who crash land on an Earth, a thousand years after it has been abandoned and set off in exploration of this new and unfamiliar world. However, everything is not what it seems.
One Thousand A.E. is set to be directed by the man behind The Sixth Sense and Signs, M. Night Shyamalan with the screenplay rewritten by Stephen Gaghan following Gary Whitta’s original script. The movie is expected to be released on June 7, 2013.
