It may not come as much of a shock to many of you to hear that Will Smith is set to appear in another movie sequel, as the actor has been linked to a sequel for almost all of the movies he has ever done. However, it appears that the wheels are in motion to push forward with Hancock 2, as Hancock director Peter Berg has claimed that Will Smith has come up with a good idea for a Hancock sequel.
He explained, “We’ve been talking about the sequel between us, Will Smith, producers Michael Mann and Akiva Goldsman and myself. We’re all interested, but we literally just have trouble getting into the same room at the same time. We did have a series of meetings last year and started to hash out an idea for sequel and Will Smith actually had the idea, so I think it will happen, it’s just a question of timing.”
So with everybody involved in the 2008 movie Hancock willing to be involved in a Hancock sequel, it seems that it will only be a matter of time before we get Hancock 2. Meanwhile, Will Smith will next appear on the big screen when he reprises his role as Agent J in the movie Men In Black 3, which is set to be released on May 25, 2012.
