While Marvel have taken their movie projects and their television projects and have decided to have them exist within the same universe, having crossovers between the big screen and the small screen, Warner Bros. and DC have decided to take a different route, having a separate universe for each. This means we are seeing different versions of the same character on both the big screen and the small screen.
We already know that we are going to see Ezra Miller play the big screen version of The Flash, while we already have Grant Gustin playing the character on the small screen, which has led fans to talk about the possibility of seeing other big DC characters on the small screen. Stephen Amell plays the role of Green Arrow in Arrow and Stephen has given his views on the possibility of seeing Batman joining the show.
Amell explained, "In the same way that... [Ezra Miller's] playing the Flash in the cinematic universe -- theoretically, we haven't seen him yet -- I see no reason why we couldn't have our own Bruce Wayne. That's my opinion; that might not be DC's opinion, and their the bosses."
As well as talking about the possibility of seeing some of the big screen DC characters appearing on the small screen projects, Stephen Amell also went on to talk about the possibility of appearing in a DC movie. Stephen says that there is nothing in place that would stop him from being involved in one of the big screen DC projects.
Amell added, "Whenever I talk to people, it's like, 'This is an evolving process.' And there's absolutely no contractual barriers and/or creative barriers between me and being in a movie, one of the DC movies."
