From the very first moment it was announced that the rights to the Star Wars franchise had been sold to Disney, and that they had plans to make a new Star Wars trilogy, there have been plenty of rumours about the new films. People have spoken about potentil plots, new cast members, returning cast members and anything else you can think of.
When it comes to the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII, a lot of the attention has been about which off the characters from the original Star Wars trilogy will return. It has all but been guaranteed that we will see the return of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), while there have also been rumors of Yoda also returning.
One of the biggest characters from the Star Wars movies, if not the biggest of them all, is Darth Vadar. He was such a popular character that the prequel trilogy was about Anakin Skywalker becoming Darth Vader, with Hayden Christensen in the lead role. Anakin/Vader died at the end of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi but could we see him back in Star Wars: Episode VII?
There have been a few rumours of late, that we could see Hayden Christensen back as Anakin Skywalker in a Force Ghost form, while others have suggested he could be involved in flashbacks or dream sequences. However, Hayden received such a backlash for his performances in Star Wars, that we find it highly unlikely that J.J. Abrams will want to risk having him back.
Would you like to see Hayden Christensen in Star Wars: Episode VII?
