Over the years we have seen quite a few stars coming through and making a name for themselves on RuPaul's Drag Race, which brought Willam Belli to people's attention and he has not looked back since. One of the other ventures that Willam has pursued over the years is a music career with the group DWV.
During their music career, DWV brought us a number of different hits, including the likes of Boy Is A Bottom, before they decided to split up and go their own separate ways. Now, Willam Belli has opened up about his relationship with his former DWV band members Detox and Vicky Vox, admitting that they are not exactly the closest of friends any more.
Belli explained to Johnny McGovern as part of his Hey Qween! web talk show, "You're not friends with your friends your whole life sometimes... We don't hate each other, they hate me. I'm cool... one of them really hasn't spoken to me, well unless she needed something, since like November."
He added, "It's fine though, we are professionals and we had so much -- on stage it was one of those things where nothing could go wrong, it was really nice. And then we could get back on stage and it would be like, ok -- we were playing a role kind of. We were like everybody's best friends."
It is nothing new for bands to split up and for the former members of the group to fall out and we have no doubt that we will see it happen plenty more times in the future.
