The Hunger Games actor Woody Harrelson has revealed that, while he does love New York, he finds that there are way too many temptations. Woody admitted that, if he did not live by certain guidelines while in New York, he would find himself getting very drunk, very easily.
Harrelson explained, “Being in New York can certainly incline you a little bit more toward having a drink. I’m really doing more wholesome activities. I set them up so I’m not just left to my own devices, which might just be going out on the prowl in the Village, just looking for places to drink myself stupid - depending on what buddies I’m with.”
Woody Harrelson also discussed the death of his father, who was jailed in 1979 for the contract killing of a federal judge. He died while in prison and Woody has never been able to forgive what happened to his father.
He added, “I definitely see how he got wronged by the government. I have no way of knowing what he did. I don’t have any way of knowing. But I just see the way the whole trial was conducted. He got railroaded.”
