X Factor judge Demi Lovato has confessed that dealing with her demons are a “daily struggle”.

The teenager - who entered rehab in 2010 after suffering from an eating disorder and self-harming - confessed that asking for help is still “hard for me to learn.” The former Disney star has been slowly re-building her life since completing treatment but admits it isn’t easy.
Demi told Cosmopolitan magazine: "It's a daily thing; you don't get time off from it. And if I feel myself slipping back into old patterns, I have to ask others for help, which is hard for me to learn, because I really like doing everything on my own."
Despite her past battles, the 19 year-old is looking forward to the future and was recently revealed as the newest and youngest ever X Factor judge. Demi may have to toughen up in order to impress the shows boss, Simon Cowell, as the star also revealed that after her struggles she finds it difficult to criticise.
“I've done so much in my life, it doesn't feel right to judge other people,” she added.
Having previously dated Joe Jonas the currently single star said she wasn’t fussy when it came to men.
"I don't have many deal breakers,” she insisted, adding: "one quality I won't tolerate... I would never be with a guy who is controlling."
