Right, I’m gonna try and make this as less harsh as I possibly can but after hearing X Factor winner James Arthur talk, I can’t help but think that the guy is deluded. By entering The X Factor he is automatically signing all creative control over and will have to fall in line.
Matt Cardle could give James Arthur some good advice
However, it appears that James actually thinks he is going to have full control over his album. Maybe he has not heard of the likes of Matt Cardle? Matt had ideas about how he wanted his debut album to go but he will soon tell you that you are told how your album will go.
Arthur was on This Morning, when he said, “I think you're going to get a really honest piece of work. I've got a lot to say. I've got a lot of lyrics, I've had songs that I've accumulated over the years about my journey in life so I guess you'll get a bit of a story and some nice melodies and something that's easy on the ear hopefully.”

Then he sounded even more deluded, “I will definitely be having control over everything that happens, I will have creative control and the artistic license - if that's not the case, then I wouldn't put anything out that I didn't believe in.”
No disrespect to James Arthur, he can sing, he is a musician and he writes his own material but the fact of the matter is, he just won X Factor, so Simon Cowell owns his ass! Arriba!!
