The writers of the upcoming movie X-Men: First Class have revealed that they have a few ideas that they wouldn’t mind trying out if they were to make a sequel to the movie. Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz both admitted that they would like to introduce the character Cable to the movie series.
"We would like to introduce Cable. He's such a cool character and we haven't seen him in any of the films yet," explained the writers. Avatar star Stephen Lang has even claimed that he would like to play the character if the chance came up. An idea that Cable co creator Rob Liefeld agrees with.
Liefeld used his Twitter account to say, "Dear 20th Century Fox, please sign [Stephen] Lang as Cable and put him in your next X-Men film," before adding, "Lang's performance as Quaritch in Avatar was brilliant. Just attach a cyborg arm to him and presto! He's Cable. Perfect age too." X-Men: First Class is released in UK cinemas today and will be released in the US on Friday.
