Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling are set to appear on the big screen later this month, in the movie The Lucky One. The two you stars are involved in a sex scene in The Lucky One and have been discussing how they get through the awkwardness of it.
Efron explained, “You can’t take it too seriously. At the end of the day, the best thing to do is laugh all the way through it. It’s hilarious. Making a love scene is pretty funny. But at that point, we he had been working together for months and we knew each other very, very well. It was very natural and second nature.”
Taylor then went on to admit that she has a specific routine set in place before it comes to filming the sex scenes. She added, “I chew more gum that day than typical. A lot of mints and no onions.” Schilling also admitted that she felt very comfortable with it and that it did not feel awkward at all.
The Lucky One centres around a Marine who, after serving three tours in Iraq, travels to North Carolina in search of a woman who he does not know but believes was his lucky charm during his time in Iraq. The Lucky One is directed by Scott Hicks and is released on April 20 in the US and May 2 in the UK.
