It was suggested way back in March of last year that High School Musical star Zac Efron and the queen of country music Taylor Swift were an item. However, nothing developed between the two and they claimed that they were just good friends. Now the couple have been seen out having a meal together at Los Angeles Italian restaurant Place and this has reignited the rumours that Zac Efron and Taylor Swift are dating.
An eye witness stated that they were "deep in conversation and very giggly" but a person in the know claims that the couple are still just friends. The insider explained, "They were in LA doing press stuff together, and after they were done, they decided to grab dinner. They have been friends a long time."
Meanwhile, another insider explained, "Taylor thinks Zac's cute but they are on totally different wavelengths." Both Zac Efron and Taylor Swift have had fairly high profile relationships in the past, with Zac Efron dating Vanessa Hudgens and Taylor Swift dating Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal. However, do not get your hopes up of a new hot couple in Hollywood, as they are clearly just good friends.
