Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens rose to fame in the hit High School Musical movies and Zac recently claimed that he would jump at the chance to be involved in another one. Well it seems that Efron has received his wish, as a new High School Musical is on the cards.
So far, of the original cast, only Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have been revealed to have signed on but some of the others are expected to feature too. There will be a new cast of youngsters for the new High School Musical movie, which could see a new breed of young stars come through.
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are likely to be playing teachers at the school in High School Musical, with Zac as the basketball coach and Vanessa as a music teacher. However, their characters have had a rocky road since the last High School Musical movie.
The writers from the original High School Musical are currently working on a script and as soon as Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have some free time in the currently hectic schedule, the new High School Musical will begin shooting.
