Hollywood heart throb Zac Efron already has a rather busy schedule and it has just got that little bit busier. Zac already has several films coming out over the next year or so and he has now signed up to join the cast of another movie.
Zac Efron has signed on to star in the true-crime thriller Narc, which is described as a college version of the hit Johnny Depp movie Donnie Brasco. Narc centres around a college golden boy, who sees his reputation destroyed, when he is found with cocaine. The police agree not to lock him up, if he takes on an undercover informant role for them, and so the double life begins.
The Hollywood Report announced the news that Zac Efron is on board to star in Narc, while Rick Yorn and Julie Yorn (We Bought a Zoo) will produce the film, screenwriting duties falling to Grant Meyers.
Meanwhile, Zac Efron stars with Billy Bob Thornton and Paul Giamatti in Parkland, with Imogen Poots and Michael B Jordan in Are We Officially Dating? and is in the process of filming his latest movie Townies, with Seth Rogen and Dave Franco.
