There has been a lot of talk about the new Zach Braff movie Wish I Was Here since the movie was ultimately funded by the fans. Zach used a kickstarter campaign to get the funds for his movie and it is now on the verge of being released. As well as starring Zach Braff, the movie also stars Kate Hudson and now the new Wish I Was Here trailer has been released.
If you have not heard much about Wish I Was Here, it centres on "Aidan Bloom, a struggling actor, father and husband, who at 35 is still trying to find his identity; a purpose for his life. He winds up trying to home school his two children when his father can no longer afford to pay for private education and the only available public school is on its last legs. Through teaching them about life his way, Aidan gradually discovers some of the parts of himself he couldn't find."
While Zach Braff and Kate Hudson star in Wish I Was Here, the movie does also boast a whole host of other impressive Hollywood names including such stars as Josh Gad, Joey King, Jim Parsons, Ashley Greene, Mandy Patinkin, Donald Faison, Pierce Gagnon, McKaley Miller and James Avery. As well as starring in Wish I Was Here, Zach Braff also co-wrote the project and directed the film.
Wish I Was Here opens on limited release in the US on July 18, before then opening nationwide on July 25, while it will hit the big screen in the UK on September 19. For now though, we urge you to take a moment or two to check out the Wish I Was Here trailer below, as it certainly looks like it is going to be an enjoyable movie.
