There are a lot of video games being adapted for the big screen in the coming years, with some of them at different stages of development compared to others. While some of these video games are being adapted into movies for the first time, there are others that are making a second appearance, after already being a film in the past.
Back in 2007 we were given the movie Hitman, which was not quite as successful as hoped and, while there was talk of a Hitman sequel, it never actually came about. Then, it was announced that Fox were developing a Hitman movie reboot which would be titled Agent 47 and would begin shooting this year.
Things have continued to progress with Agent 47, with Homeland actor Rupert Friend being cast in the lead role for the Hitman reboot. Now it seems that the casting has continued, as recent reports claim that Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto has now landed a role in Agent 47.
Unfortunately, there are no details as to what character Zachary Quinto will play in Agent 47 but we would love to see him back playing a villain, as he was truly impressive when he played Sylar in the television series Heroes. Agent 47 has been penned by Skip Woods and Michael Finch and will be directed by Alexsander Bach. There is no confirmed official release date as of yet.
