It really is going to be interesting to see what the Russo Brothers can do with the planned new Marvel movie Avengers: Infinity War, considering the fact that we are going to have a huge amount of Marvel superhero characters appearing in the project. How are they going to be able to do all of these characters justice, without making the film too long?
Joining the Avengers in this latest outing are the Guardians of the Galaxy, which will see actress Zoe Saldana reprising her role as Gamora for Avengers: Infinity War. With shooting for the huge movie already underway, Zoe has admitted that she is excited to bring her character into this group, although she was stunned by just how huge things are.
During a recent chat with Collider, Saldana said, "The Guardians were on set from the very first day. We were all in shock. It's too big. I was like, 'I hope I'm not overstimulated or overwhelmed by its immensity.' The Russo brothers (Anthony and Joseph) are bringing all the characters together in the Marvel Universe."
She added, "They are fantastic. The direction they are taking I immediately felt super-excited. It's going to be quite dramatic. The Guardians being part of the film ... I think will make the movies more interesting. We are keeping our authentic voices and that's going to make our introduction special. I also love what the Russo brothers are doing with the rest of the Avengers."
Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit the big screen on April 27, 2018 in the UK and on May 4, 2018 in the US.
