Guardians of the Galaxy beauty Zoe Saldana has been talking about what it is like to raise her young boys and how her sons have had such a positive change on so many different aspects of her life. Zoe has her beautiful young baby son Zen, as well as her twins Bowie and Cy, who are two, with her husband Marco Perego, and the actress has admitted that her sons have made her rethink how she views men.
Saldana said, "I lost my dad very early on and even though I had a lot of male mentors in my life, either by family or being friends or just educators that inspired me, I still went through my aggressive stage in my 20s of forcefully being a feminist. You know, I'm a feminist because I have to fight men and everything and it's not until the universe with its way of being ironic, blessed me with raising men that I realised I am so humbled."
She added, "I couldn't be more in awe of who they are their natures as boys. We put so much pressure on them. Through our nurture we tamper so much. So I've been leaning in on the books and talking to parents of boys, getting any advice from fathers and mothers that we can grab. My husband and I are sponges because we are determined to raise happy, stress-free men."
As far as her acting career is concerned, as well has having a number of future appearances lined up as Gamora in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Zoe Saldana will also soon be gearing up to start getting to work on the three new Avatar movies that James Cameron has planned. We cannot wait to see how the new Avatar movies are received but, with Avatar 2 not expected until around 2020, we still have a long time to wait.
