Zooey Deschanel is famed for her quirky style and fabulous shiny bangs, but does having one of the most talked about fringes in Hollywood make you an expert hairdresser? Apparently so!

Last week, New Girl actress Zooey took to her Twitter and Instagram pages to post a photo of herself with a pair of scissors in her hand, about to cut her friend Sophia's hair.
"Typical thursday: Just cutting Sophia's bangs... instagr.am/p/VLMmIfLjuG/" Zooey Tweeted to her followers.
The photograph which accompanied the caption showed Zooey's wide Bambi eyes in a crazy-stare, about to cut her friends hair. But this didn't seem to put Zooey's followers off wanting a piece of the action, and one even commented: "do a tutorial on cutting bangs please!"

However, as skilled as she is, could Zooey Deschanel turn hairdresser? We hope not, Hollywood would be losing a great actress and the world would be losing a fashion icon.
Zooey is this month's Glamour cover girl, and looks fantastic gracing the magazine. The thirty-three year old actress - who starred alongside Will Ferrell in Christmas movie Elf - poses for a western style shoot for this months issue, and was joined by singer Miley Cyrus' model ex, Justin Gaston.
