With his Arsenal team currently sitting 15th in the Premier League having only registered 4 points and one unconvincing win this season, many people are asking if Arsenal’s top man has run out of time?
It seems unlikely that the Arsenal board would sack Arsene Wenger in the current climate especially given the contract he is tied to and the team he is trying to build. It would make it very difficult for any other manager to come in and take over at this point in time, especially the £60m plus spent recently. Arsene Wenger acknowledge after the Blackburn Rovers 4-3 defeat that they have been careless on the pitch and need to learn from that as a team.
There is obviously fundamental errors within Arsenal right now and only time spent at the training ground and applying those lessons on the pitch can help them turn around there fortune. It appears the immediate unrest from many Arsenal supporters has also subsided some as they go through this transition period and realise it’s going to be a tough year as it’s a marathon not a sprint.
