Singer Adam Levine has been performing with his band Maroon 5 recently, when a female fan took to the stage and headed straight for the star. Adam, along with the rest of Maroon 5, were performing at the Honda Centre in Anaheim, California when the incident happened and Adam has revealed how terrified he was.

Levine explained to the roaring crowd, "It's just weird to be, like, in the moment, ya know? And your singing, and your eyes are closed, and you have this beautiful moment. And then the next thing you know someone's f***ing in your face. It's super terrifying."
Fortunately for Adam Levine it was not all about the fear of the stage invader for the Maroon 5 frontman, as he also took the time to meet Esperanza Duran before the band took to the stage. The five-year old girl has been battling stage three kidney cancer and her mother revealed how pleased she was by the meeting, especially when Esperanza told Adam that she performed their song Sugar at a talent show.

Gloria Duran said, "That smile on her face. That was worth everything in the world to me. He was very in awe of that. He just told her thank you, how beautiful she was and her smile. I don't even have enough words to express what we're feeling right now."
It is never a good thing when a fan takes to the stage but fortunately the security team were quick to respond and things were soon back to normal, with Maroon 5 putting on a fantastic show.
