Over the course of the past few weeks and months, talk of Wonder Woman have been in overdrive, as it was revealed that she will appear in the Batman vs. Superman movie. In the past, actress Adrianne Palicki played the character in a failed Wonder Woman television pilot and Adrianne has looked back at getting to play the role.
Palicki told IGN, "It was probably a blessing. It would’ve been a really hard thing to shoot. And I got to wear the costume — I should say, I got paid to wear the costume! So not many people get to say that. [laughs] I’m really blessed to have gotten to do that and maybe someday down the line I’ll get to play that character or another awesome icon again."
She added, "I think it’s hard to find females who can do the action stuff and I think that when people see somebody… there are only like three or four [actresses] who are in all that stuff, because it’s like once people see that they can do it, they put them in a lot of things."
Adrianne Palicki previously admitted that she would love to have another go at playing Wonder Woman but that now seems highly unlikely. Wonder Woman will be played by Gal Gadot in the Batman vs. Superman movie, which will hit the big screen on July 17, 2015.
