‘Walk This Way’ rock legends, Aerosmith have revealed that they will be setting off on a new tour come the winter. Aerosmith will become the latest music act to perform in Japan since the devastation of the earthquake and tsunami attacks earlier this year. Guitarist Joe Perry also admitted that Aerosmith intend to play the worst hit areas of Japan.
Joe explained, "Our prayers are with all of our Japanese fans and the people of Japan. They can use all of our prayers and whatever help we can give. We can't wait to be there and play for the people who have supported us for the past 40 years. Our fans know how much we love them and we are eager to return and give them the show of a lifetime, especially after the tragedy they have recently been through."
It will be the first time Aerosmith have played in Japan in over five years. The tour will begin in Kanazawa on November 22 before heading to Tokyo and Hiroshima and finally ending in Sapporo on December 10. Tickets for the tour are set to go on sale on July 23.
