Ailee is one of the brightest music stars in the Asian music scene and her talent has made her very popular among some of the top musical artists among them R&B star Eric Benet. She recently returned to recording music in January 2014 after a six month hiatus and she is in demand.
Eric Benet recently asked her if she would collaborate with him on the remake of the song 'Almost Paradise', the theme song of the 1984 hit movie "Footloose" and she did. Eric Benet was so impressed by the song that it was featured on his Japanese album titled "From E to U: Volume 1, Album One" and he also released it in Korea as a single.
For many music insiders the fact that a respected R&B star who has achieved success as a performer in Japan would be so impressed by Ailee's voice is no surprise as she has been identified as someone who was bound to be successful as a musical artist since her appearance of MBC's "Singer and Trainee" contest where her solo rendition of recording superstar Beyonce's song 'Halo' was so impressive that the judges identified her as someone with the voice to become a star in the music industry.
Following the collaboration with Eric Benet she released a ballad for the dramatic show "Triangle" titled "Haru Haru" and it was received very well which for many music insiders is proof that she is back in form and ready to become the star she was before taking her hiatus.
Ailee is back as a star sensation in the Asian music scene and now the only question is when will she release her next album and will her rendition with Eric Benet be the first of many future collaborations and possibly a joint tour that could lead to US visits? The future is bright for the talented Ailee and her fans and musical insiders are very appreciative of her return to the recording studio.
