Alden Ehrenreich and Alice Englert are about to get exposed to a whole new level of fame with their starring roles in the upcoming ‘Beautiful Creatures’. Based on a bestselling novel of the same name, both Alden and Alice are coming to terms with the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart comparisons, especially as they also play star-crossed lovers in a supernatural romance. However, both are quick to draw away from the comparisons and focus on the differences.

In an interview with The National Student, when discussing whether they will ever be able to replace Twilight, Alice says, “It a phenomenal really. There is a big hole and the media are trying to find its replacement and I just don’t know who realistic it is. I agree with you I think that doing a Hollywood films or a blockbuster I don’t know what you call it - it’s sort of like meeting the parents. You know you start with people falling in love with film but to continue your relationship you have to meet the parents [laughs] and that can go either really well or not well…”
Alden also discusses the comparisons, but he mentions that because of Twilight, Kristen Stewart was able to get ‘On the Road’ made, and it’s a huge blessing for an actor to be able to have the freedom to pick your projects.

Viola Davis plays a supporting role in 'Beautiful Creatures'
It’s clear that both Alden and Alice have an enormous amount of chemistry together, and although I wouldn’t say they will become Twilight level famous with this film, the audience clearly can’t get enough. The film is selling out at a rapid rate, and the books are huge bestsellers and have also spawned an entire saga. However, we’ll know for sure what kind of fan fervor we’re dealing with on February 14th, when the movie opens in theaters across the US just in time for Valentine’s Day.
