According to these rumours, Dakota has become disillusioned with the project, following the exit of Charlie Hunnam, followed by the casting of Jamie Dornan and the fact that the fans have been less than positive about her. Johnson is now considering her options, with some sources claiming that she is looking for a way out of the movie.
Apparently, the Fifty Shades of Grey producers do not want to have to spend time searching for a replacement again, so have put Alexis Bledel on standby. Alexis is believed to have always been interested in playing Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey and would jump at the chance to take over the role.
