With many expecting this to be the start of the end of America’s Got Talent’s dominance with the immediate arrival of US Factor, they have whittled down to four acts to compete for the $1 million cash reward and appear in a show in Las Vegas on October 28th 2011.
The self-appointed “one to beat” Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr was some favourite through his pure talent shining through into his music, but the bookies were very much backing the young Silhouettes.
In a narrow contest, Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr managed to beat out the young dance troop Silhouettes to much celebration. It’s a complete change of pace for Jr. who not long ago was living on the streets and washing cars, and not finds himself with the entertainment elite. A true underdog story if there ever was one.
